Thanks, Sami.
When we had lunch at the Vat 2 Restaurant in Bunbury (crn Jetty Road and Casuarina Drive) during our recent trip down south, I came across some great murals.
Painted in May 2018 by Perth artist ArtbyD3stroy.
...great murals Sami, somethings that I would expect to see here on Maui. My link is:

DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteA good mural for that restaurant.
Well, it took me some time for linking your June 2018 post about the 100th anniversary of May Gibbs about Snugglepot and Cuddlepot, the May Gibbs' book characters published in 1918... But I finally did, don't know if you spotted the link below post.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. I hadn't noticed the link, just went back and saw it, thank you :)

DeleteThis is very beautiful, Sami! "Sadly" you sure find the fire hose reel, looking at the steering wheel! Clever.
ReplyDeleteVery beautifully done. Can you imagine to travel like that? I´d be lost with such a sextant, I´d probably find "India" ;-)
Brave people that travelled the seas with those rudimentary instruments.
DeleteThanks Iris.

DeleteMurals are the subject of at least one news article a week these days... truly a popular art form and really being recognized. Sometimes the subject is beautiful murals in jeopardy, like the new Bansky in England that was almost immediately vandalized, but some are upbeat.
ReplyDeleteI hope all your participants are reading them, but I'm still tempted to provide a link sometimes. Like this one:
