Monday Mural - Marseille Faces II

Random murals of faces seen in Marseille, during a visit to our daughter's in-laws in September 2017.
We stayed at an Airbnb in the vibrant bohemian quarter of Cours Julien, and as well as a lot of ugly graffiti, there was a lot of street art in the little lanes, shopfronts, garage doors, etc.

If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you; just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you find murals everywhere.
Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters.  Looking forward to your mural finds posted this week.

Monday mural meme is posted at 12,01am Monday, Western Australian time
Thanks, Sami.

  1. The first one is my favorite. The face was so thoughtful and wistful. The others were great, but not as expressive as the first.

Can you believe it? I got back online for the first time in over two days just about 20 minutes ago. I was SO lucky to have a friend who knew what to do.

Thanks for hosting this great event, Sami. You are right. I see murals EVERYWHERE now!

  5. Quite 'dark' murals aren't they. You are right about graffiti in Marseille. It was everywhere.

    1. Except for the first one I also found the others "dark". Thanks Andrew, and yes Marseille has far too much graffiti.

  8. I love the first one. The others - or all - maybe represent what we (in Germany) learn in the news, stressful political times in France (as here...)

    1. Yes, I too prefer the first one, the others are sad and dark. I suppose it could have to do with the French situation.
