You can read about our trip to the island on the 29th September here.
What would you name your boat? I'm not much of a "boatie" but if I could afford to buy a nice yacht I would probably name it "Sunshine".
FOR OTHER SIGNS please go over to Tom's blog.
My other SIGNS post with boat names: https://sami-colourfulworld.blogspot.com/2019/04/signs-boats.html
I always like the funny neat names.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adam.
DeleteOh, wow, so many great names!
ReplyDeleteYou even kinda have my Dad and me in there - born in January and I´ve been at "The Tropic Of Capricorn" near Alice Springs and my Dad was on Galapagos!
But a boat? Nooooo.... H & B from near Kwinana had one when they still lived in the north and let Ingo "drive" - holy, moly, no, way too fast!
Thanks Iris. A bit of a waste for me too, more of a land person.
DeleteI love the names of boats. Some can be so funny, some clever and some mundane. The funniest on I saw was "Wet Dreams".
ReplyDeleteMB

Delete...boat names can be clever and you found some great ones. I love the explore a marina too. Thanks Sami for sharing, enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, always something interesting to see at the marina.
DeleteHello, wonderful series on the boat names. Wishing you a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Eileen.
DeleteQuite amusing. I will go with the first, Pure Indulgence, as that is what I think they are.
ReplyDeleteQuite right, it is an indulgent pastime, very expensive.
DeleteI love boat names too, will have to post some.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Andrew, though, could never see the pleasure in owning a boat.
Thanks Jackie, I don't think I would be spending money on one either, unless I won Lotto, then I'm sure my husband would be buying one, as he loves boats :)
DeleteThere are so many clever names for boats. Our boats name is Anewatee. Everyone pronounces it wrong.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Sami. ♥
Thanks Sandee. My husband would love to own a boat, I just can't see myself spending enough time on one to warrant such a purchase.
DeleteThose are great boat names. Fine collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks Taken for Granted.
DeleteRepercussion is my favourite of these.
ReplyDeleteThanks William :)
DeleteSome super names here Sami.. I'm not keen on boating but if I had one I'd call it 'Stay Afloat' 😉
ReplyDeleteP.s. I forgot to link my mural again, will see if link still open in the morning xx
A great name Grace :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteIt really makes one laugh too at how silly and mistaken sometimes they baptize their 'toys'...
So what they got a yacht?!
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette :)

DeleteI have no idea what I might call it. Perhaps "Gravol" as I tend to get a bit seasick at times. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat's a good one Pat :)
DeleteGreat collection.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jim.
DeleteEquilibrium is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThanks Revrunner.
DeleteI am SO sorry to be so late visiting. Beside the squirrel problem, I got back online just in time to learn there was going to be a hard freeze tonight. I spent the entire day cutting back my herbs and getting the ones I could lift into the house. The others I covered tonight with sheets. You don't seem to have that problem.
ReplyDeleteI'm like your husband. If I had the money and could get rid of a bunch of my accumulated junk, I'd love to live on a boat. I got a laugh at Uforia.
Sorry about the cold weather problem Elizabeth, seems quite early for that. Hope your herbs survive being uprooted.
DeleteA lot of great boat names! Equilibrium is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Thanks Lea, it's a good name.
DeleteBoat names are such fun. Whenever I'm at a marina, I always check them out!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to do that :) Thanks Jeanie.
DeleteWot a laugh! People are so clever with these - I like Ship happens!
ReplyDeleteWren x
Thanks Wren, that's a funny one :)
DeleteYou found some great boat names here :)
