Monday Mural - Ningaloo Dreaming

When we took the visiting family up North for a short holiday in March, we stopped at the small village of Dongara

It was a Sunday afternoon, and we stopped at the Pub on the main road (Moreton Terrace) for something to eat. Their restaurant was closed, but they suggested we order something from the Fish and Chips shop across the road, and we could eat at the pub as long as we ordered drinks from them.

While waiting for our order I spotted this mural on the corner wall. It was quite pretty and vibrant. It was painted by Evie Black in 2016, but I've been unable to find out anything about the artist.

  1. very nice mural. I like how it is done in the corner, that gives it somehow tridimensional aspect.

  4. Beautiful mural.
We got stuck in Dongara in 1999 for two days due to flooding. And I was too shy to ask the road train driver if he might show me his vehicle. And then I was the driver when 4WD´s were allowed to set off. Ingo filmed it and yelled at the slower and slower getting guy in front of us to DRIVE ON!
    Quite some memories!

  9. A most unusual entry for you this week, but I certainly enjoyed it. The way it was painted around the corner gave it more dimension than you would normally find on most buildings.

    1. Thanks Revrunner, I had also searched high and low and nothing...
I presume it could have been a local artist, and I should have asked at the shop.
