Another mural I spotted on the main street of the suburb of Bayswater, just north east of Perth's city centre.
This one was painted by Melski McVee in 2017 and can be found on King William Street on the boundary wall of the heritage Post office/Bendigo Bank building.
...Sami, this is a lovely, colorful addition to the library and it has weathered well. Thanks for hosting and I wish you a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom :)
DeleteThis is a stunning mural. I love it when a community comes together to create such a beautiful project. Thanks for hosting, dear.
ReplyDeleteThank you Elizabeth. It's lovely when community comes together :)
DeleteBeautiful and colorful mural! It is a nice addition to the library. Take care, have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteThank you Eileen.
DeletePainting murals involves so many challenges — creating a mural on a long low wall is totally different from a large side of a building or even a taller fence, and the results are very fascinating.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Monday Murals!
best, mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae. I think a low mural might be more difficult to paint that a taller one.
DeleteIt adds a splash of color to this scene. I love that it is a community project.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sharon.
DeleteThese are effective stripes and lines with colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks Roentare :)
DeleteLove this, I said something similar last week but it really takes little effort to really lift a streetscape!
ReplyDeleteFor sure, a bit of colour makes all the difference, thanks Lydia.
DeleteNice one. I'd like to see something like this on a trip to the post office.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting, Sami.
Have a good week ahead!
Thank you Dee :) Enjoy your week too.

DeleteSuch a happy one! :-)
ReplyDeleteI just wonder if or when someone sits down on that bench in the scorching sun?
I's not always very hot, so I presume sometimes people will sit there. Thanks Iris
DeleteGreat colourful mural Especially love the birds
ReplyDeleteThanks Marja :)
DeleteAmazing mural
ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam :)
DeleteDear Sami, it's so great that so many walls are being beautified all over the country. This narrow, colorful, cheerful strip of wall puts everyone in a much better mood than if it were just gray on gray! Today you'll get another mosaic mural from me - wall decorations made of mosaic tiles that we discovered in an Italian restaurant in Vienna.
ReplyDeleteAll the best and a happy new week, Traude

Thank you Traude. Your mosaic mural is beautiful :)
DeleteI can’t understand why it’s impossible to leave a message from my computer and only from my phone. I like this mural. (kwarkito)
ReplyDeleteNot sure why, lately you seem to be posting as anonymous, not sure if you're not logged in on your side. I have that problem if I post from my phone, I appear as anonymous, but I can't work out how to be logged in as myself! Thanks Kwarkito
DeleteGreat colors and lines.
ReplyDeleteSusan
Thank you Susan :)

DeleteThis mural has held up well being six years old. It does add color to the neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteIt has done well considering it would get a lot of sun too. Thanks TFG
