I saw this mural when we walked from daughter Karina's house to Piato restaurant on our last night in Bruhl. Couldn't get information about it, can just see it has the words "Bruhl" on one side.
Welcome to Frankfurt Airport - This one was taken while we waited for our luggage at Frankfurt airport, before Karina picked us up to drive us to Bruhl.
...Sami, you found several nice murals. The first one certainly dresses up an ugly building. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom, that utility building looks much better with the mural :)
DeleteI'm impressed with the large utility box that you took photos of on all four sides. Not sure how to interpret it, but it is colorful. And I absolutely LOVE the mural in the Frankfurt airport. Very family friendly.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. That mural is certainly colourful. I liked the one at Frankfurt airport too :)
DeleteMore and more creative murals are showing up in so many places! What fun.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thank you Mae. So happy there are murals everywhere now!
DeleteThese are all very interesting and creative. I like the welcome mural. All airports should have one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. Airports certainly should be more creative, it lifts the spirits :)
DeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThanks William :)
DeleteI like them all, the rainbow one is so colourful, perfect for children.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy, it does look like a mural for children :)
DeleteUne vraiment belle serie de peintures murales allemandes. J’aime pour ma part beaucoup les premières à cause de leur étrange abstraction. (Kwarkito)
ReplyDeleteMerci Kwarkito :)
DeleteThank You for bringing us!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cloudia :)
DeleteIt's interesting to see murals in other parts of the world. I've always been amused by the word rathaus. It seems so appropriate. The mural looks pretty good on the rathaus.
ReplyDeleteTo the English speaking it unfortunately sounds very much like "house of rats". But rat means council :)
DeleteI always love finding murals in new cities!
ReplyDeleteAlways exciting to be on the lookout for murals in new cities and countries.
DeleteE assim se dá vida a espaços muito feios.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Obrigada Pedro :)
DeleteNice ones. I could swear there was not a single mural in airport Frankfurt last time. Just signs. Time to go back, it seems!
ReplyDeleteAnd guess you see my frustration about never or seldom finding the name of the artist! ;-)
At Frankfurt airport that was the only one I saw by the luggage collection area. Sometimes it's difficult to find the names of the artists.
DeleteAmazing murals, Beautifully captured. Have a nice week ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you Rupam
DeleteJust dropped in to say thank you for forwarding the bear from Iris. He arrived last Friday and has been named Cookie :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Iris had messaged me it to announce it had arrived. Great name :)
DeleteWhen I worked in downtown St. Louis, Mo I looked out the window at Lindy Squared. It's no longer in it's original location but there is a great time line of it going up and coming down on this website.

ReplyDeleteThanks David. These were old ones, maybe next time they will schedule some mural painting while I visit :)
DeleteSorry, again I have problems with the linky list. Here is my contribution: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2022/09/05/music-in-olhao/
ReplyDeleteAre you in Germany for a visit?
You must have managed Traudel, as your mural is in :) Thanks
DeleteYou seem to find good murals everywhere, Sami. Thanks for hosting us each week.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat, there are more and more murals around it seems :)
DeleteI love murals and was glad to find your Linky. We have amazing murals in Center City Philadelphia. I shared some from my trip to Uruguay.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining us Judee, hope to see more murals from Philadelphia then :) Have a lovely week.
DeleteThat’s quite a variety. I joined the party late this week because I’ve been very busy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda 😊
DeleteSome of them are pretty nice too. Here in my area I don't come across them very often. Best regards, Tine
ReplyDeleteThanks Tine. We are lucky here in Perth we have new murals being painted all the time.
DeleteA nice selection here Sami.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the welcome mural at the airport.
Enjoy your month of September.
All the best Jan
Thank you Jan. Have a great September too.
