Signs from "Sushi Sushi", a Japanese restaurant at Forrest Chase, a shopping centre located in Forrest Place in Perth's city centre.
Pictures were taken in December as you can probably guess from all the twinkling lights ...
And also in Forrest Place you can see "Grow your own", aka the Cactus, by Perth sculptor James Angus.
The Cactus is placed behind a "water park" for the kids and just across the street you can see the Perth Railway Station, which was inaugurated in 1881. It's Perth largest station on the Transperth network and serves the central business district as well as being an interchange between our 5 train lines.
Great signs, beautiful fish. So sad I don´t like Sushi, so healthy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris. I never used to like it until I actually tried it again in a proper Japanese restaurant. Now I love it!
Delete...Sami you found some colorful signs. The neon always makes a great sign. The cactus is a wonderful idea and it looks fabulous in the last picture, but cactus and a water park seem like a mismatch. Thanks for coming to the party.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom. Yes cactus need no water, lol. I suppose the huge was a great spot to entertain kids while the parents shopped or had a nibble.
DeleteI like the Cactus.
ReplyDeleteThanks William.
DeleteGostei do cactos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

Obrigada Francisco, e uma estatua interessante. Boa semana
DeleteGreat signs and I like the cactus sculpture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Martha, it is a striking sculpture.
DeleteI love the sushi signs, but am not a fan of it. Guess I've never had good sushi, even though there is a sushi bar in my neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the cactus.
Thanks Elizabeth. I never used to like it when I had Sushi in Portugal, but then we don't have an Asian community, so it was probably not too authentic, but since moving to Perth I was convinced to taste some and now love it!
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteSome nice captures of special signs.
Quite a history of the Perth Railway Station.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette, it's a lovely old building.

DeleteHad to smile at your Sushi sign. Yes, they had me at just Sushi. Unfortunately we could not be further from the sea, so sushi is a rare treat.
