Monday Mural - Fauna and Flora in Belmont

I came across these murals when I picked up a piece of furniture to paint, and on the way back noticed Melski's mural on the water tanks and stopped to take photos. Below another mural I noticed when looking for a parking place...

Painted in September 2018 by Perth born very talented artist, Melski McVee at the Belmont Forum shopping centre - showcasing local fauna and flora like the Patterned finches, butterflies and the grevillea (spider flower). This one is on Fulham street, and she painted another mural on the other side of the shopping at Wright Street.

I love murals and street art. If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.  Just follow the Linky steps below.  Once you start looking you will find murals everywhere.  The "Monday Mural" meme goes live on Monday at 12,01AM, Perth,Western Australian time. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow posters. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.  Thanks, Sami.

This simpler mural I noticed when I parked, it's located by the taxi rank, was also painted by Melski.

  3. These water tanks are so different from the ones here in the states. Melski does a good job of painting flora and fauna. And that large, stylized flora and fauna mural is colorful and cheery. Great finds, Sami.

    1. She sure is Grace. I wonder, not the same style, so I thought it could be someone else's.
