I came across these murals when I picked up a piece of furniture to paint, and on the way back noticed Melski's mural on the water tanks and stopped to take photos. Below another mural I noticed when looking for a parking place...
Painted in September 2018 by Perth born very talented artist, Melski McVee at the Belmont Forum shopping centre - showcasing local fauna and flora like the Patterned finches, butterflies and the grevillea (spider flower). This one is on Fulham street, and she painted another mural on the other side of the shopping at Wright Street.

DeleteThese water tanks are so different from the ones here in the states. Melski does a good job of painting flora and fauna. And that large, stylized flora and fauna mural is colorful and cheery. Great finds, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth, she is a wonderful artist. It's sad I can't find who painted the other one.
