Signs - Floral Regalia

Sunday was a magnificent Spring day in Perth with the temperature going up to 26C (78,8F), so I managed to convince Jose to go with me to Kings Park, Botanical Gardens to see the wildflowers on display during the whole month of September.

Apart from beautiful flowers and cool art displays the park also had plenty of signs 😉.

For more signs from around the world visit Tom's blog.

Floral Regalia - this year's theme shows a canopy with hundreds of wildflowers crocheted on hoops. These were created by community volunteers.

As the sign says, many of Western Australia's artists find inspiration in the landscape, plants and wildlife of our State and immortalize those in art.

And I leave you with the last sign - Western Australian Botanic Garden

Hope you enjoyed the signs and visit to Kings Park.

an you spot yours?

    1. Thanks Elizabeth. A sign I read at the Park said that Western Australia had the highest percentage of Australia's species of flora, with 12,000 species of wildflowers, which makes it the largest collection of wildflowers in the world.

    1. No Iris, I have photos of it in March 2017 already. But I also always find new things in Kings Park, so it's possible you didn't spot it.
      Will have some more soon.
