Sunday was a magnificent Spring day in Perth with the temperature going up to 26C (78,8F), so I managed to convince Jose to go with me to Kings Park, Botanical Gardens to see the wildflowers on display during the whole month of September.
Apart from beautiful flowers and cool art displays the park also had plenty of signs 😉.
For more signs from around the world visit Tom's blog.
As the sign says, many of Western Australia's artists find inspiration in the landscape, plants and wildlife of our State and immortalize those in art.
And I leave you with the last sign - Western Australian Botanic Garden
Beautiful. You're warming up and we're cooling off. We've had a long and hot summer.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Sami. ♥
Thank you Sandee, yes we're certainly warming up, I love this time of the year, warm but not yet too hot. Have a lovely day :)
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteThat is a very colorful event and stimulated a lot of community involvement!
Hugs,
Mariette
I think they had hundreds of people crocheting those loops, quite an achievement. Thanks Mariette.

DeleteYou found a plethora of great signs today, dear. Many beautiful and colorful ones. I am in awe. Such beauty, such color, such diversity.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. A sign I read at the Park said that Western Australia had the highest percentage of Australia's species of flora, with 12,000 species of wildflowers, which makes it the largest collection of wildflowers in the world.
DeleteLOVE that canopy. Co-incidentaly my post before last was too our Botanic Gardens, which didn't have the signs, but was beautiful none the less.
ReplyDeleteI've just gone over to read your post EC. Lovely flowers, what's not to love about Spring?

No Iris, I have photos of it in March 2017 already. But I also always find new things in Kings Park, so it's possible you didn't spot it.
DeleteWill have some more soon.
Gostei de ver estas belas fotos e aproveito para desejar a continuação de uma boa semana.
