Going through my Draft posts I found lots of murals awaiting to be posted, and this is one of them.
This was part of over a dozen murals painted at Curtin University in April 2016 for the Public Form Festival 2016. Painted at the Science and Engineering Building 204, by Perth artist and illustrator Jae Criddle. Not the nicest one of the bunch for sure!
If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.
Just follow the Linky steps below. Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow mural bloggers. Looking forward to your mural finds this week.
Monday Mural opens at 12,01am *Western Australian time" on Mondays.
Thanks, Sami.
And these are all the other murals that I photographed at Curtin University.
I was lucky enough to catch some of the artists at work 😉:

...looks like a bunch of pink (white) people and a couple with no cloths!
ReplyDeleteYou spotted the naked one Tom, I hadn't :) :)
DeleteThank you for sharing the time you post. I must change my Australian clock from Brisbane to Perth because there is a two hour difference. This is a really unique mural, Sami. Looks like lots of people are represented there.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting this fun event I hope to participate in whenever possible.
Thanks so much for participating Elizabeth.
DeleteWay cool. I love the guy on the skateboard. That's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day and week, Sami. ♥
Thank you Sandee :) Have a great week too.
DeleteHere in the US we have people in lots of colors, not just pink! Interesting mural, though it could be more inclusive even in Australia.
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
We too have people of all colours and shapes, lol. It seems the artist only had 2 paint colours in her palette. Thanks Mae
DeleteCreative use of wall space to enliven a city. I think that the images are stylized and are not intended to represent ethnic diversity. I think there is a little overt political correctness in implying that it should,
ReplyDeleteAs it is people aren't pink either, so I think you're quite right David. It's just a fun mural
DeleteI like it - especially the one on the skateboard :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thank you Jan
DeleteAcrescento uma outra coisa que não tem limites.
ReplyDeleteE esta tenho a certeza - a imaginação humana.
Boa semana
Bem verdade Pedro e cada um tambem interpreta a arte como quer. Boa semana
DeletePictures of people who have done science experiments on each other or themselves.
ReplyDeleteThat sound frightening Andrew :)
DeleteWell, it´s probably the view a technical person has? Or Andrew is right , which would be frightening.
ReplyDeleteOh.. some murals I planned to... done and dusted ;-), but "The beast" later got a companion - you showed me, I will add, if that´s OK.
Hope Andrew isn't right Iris :)
DeleteI checked out all your old posts. These murals are so much fun to look at.

DeleteVery unusual and striking!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Liz.
DeleteIntriguing all those walking people.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marianne.
DeleteI like the ordinaryness of it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie.
DeleteI like it Sami, it's certainly different from most, would be interesting to know the artist's concept ✨
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, not really sure what all those people mean.
DeleteWish I could leave a comment for Alice Deforest, but I'm not on WordPress, twitter, or Facebook, the only options I'm given for leaving a comment.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great find. It is both unusual and beautiful. I love how the colorful background really sets off the black and white portrait.
Sometimes it can be difficult to comment on certain blogs. Thanks Elizabeth
DeleteNice mural
ReplyDeleteThanks Adam :)
DeleteIt would be interesting to know the artist's concept for this one.
ReplyDeleteDifficult to figure out this one I think, thanks Pat.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteNot too appealing to me but I had to laugh with the top row left and the bottom row center appearing like handles on a coffee mug!
Hugs,
Mariette
It's not the best one indeed. I hadn't notice those, but they are funny Mariette :)
Delete😀
Deleteunusual.one can do a lot with just two colours. :-)
ReplyDeleteYes unusual Klara :)
DeleteExcelente este mural, gostei e aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.
ReplyDeleteAndarilhar

DeleteHmm... not sure what it means. Intriguing.
ReplyDeleteA bit weird I suppose, but I thought I would post it anyway, thanks Linda.
