Monday Mural - People

Going through my Draft posts I found lots of murals awaiting to be posted, and this is one of them.

This was part of over a dozen murals painted at Curtin University in April 2016 for the Public Form Festival 2016. Painted at the Science and Engineering Building 204, by Perth artist and illustrator Jae Criddle. Not the nicest one of the bunch for sure!

If you like murals or have a mural you'd like to post, this meme is for you.
Just follow the Linky steps below.   Be sure to link back to this blog and visit your fellow mural bloggers.  Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Monday Mural opens at 12,01am *Western Australian time" on Mondays.
Thanks, Sami.

And these are all the other murals that I photographed at Curtin University.
I was lucky enough to catch some of the artists at work 😉:

  2. Thank you for sharing the time you post. I must change my Australian clock from Brisbane to Perth because there is a two hour difference. This is a really unique mural, Sami. Looks like lots of people are represented there.

Thanks for hosting this fun event I hope to participate in whenever possible.

  4. Here in the US we have people in lots of colors, not just pink! Interesting mural, though it could be more inclusive even in Australia.

    1. We too have people of all colours and shapes, lol. It seems the artist only had 2 paint colours in her palette. Thanks Mae

  5. Creative use of wall space to enliven a city. I think that the images are stylized and are not intended to represent ethnic diversity. I think there is a little overt political correctness in implying that it should,

    1. As it is people aren't pink either, so I think you're quite right David. It's just a fun mural

  9. Well, it´s probably the view a technical person has? Or Andrew is right , which would be frightening.

Oh.. some murals I planned to... done and dusted ;-), but "The beast" later got a companion - you showed me, I will add, if that´s OK.

  13. Wish I could leave a comment for Alice Deforest, but I'm not on WordPress, twitter, or Facebook, the only options I'm given for leaving a comment.

It's a great find. It is both unusual and beautiful. I love how the colorful background really sets off the black and white portrait.

  15. Dearest Sami,
Not too appealing to me but I had to laugh with the top row left and the bottom row center appearing like handles on a coffee mug!
