Accessible from Pitt street Mall, Market street or Castlereagh street, it sits above the Westfield Sydney shopping centre.
There is an observation deck (Sydney Tower Eye) and and open air glass floored platform encircling the Sydney tower eye - Skywalk, which extends over the edge of the main structure (entry fee applies).
The only time I visited the tower was on our first visit to Sydney in 2006, just before our final move from Portugal to Perth.
If you ever want to enjoy a special dinner or drinks with a 360 view over Sydney, then the 360 Bar and Dining Revolving restaurant is the place for you.
I won't scare you with the prices, but you can have a tour for free, just check the link below:

DeleteOh, my Dad would´ve just loved that tower!
ReplyDelete(Me not so much, heights.... uhhhh).
It does look amazing. But you have to trust the guys who constructed it, paper and "stone"!
Not too fond of heights either, but once in a while ok...
DeleteThank you, Sami. We visited Sydney for four days and three nights at the end of our cruise. We wondered about the Tower but didn't go in (of course nor up). I like the reflections on glass windowed tall buildings. We had them falling everywhere in Huricane Ike (at Houston).

Too many hurricanes lately...
Simply stunning reflections. Beautiful photos. I saw the 360 restaurant menu and you are right. It is definitely not a place to eat once a week (grin).
