These murals are from the Fire Station Museum which we visited on the 8th January 2025, during our December/January visit to Doha. The former fire station has been converted into a contemporary art space, showcasing art and artists, and nurturing emerging talent.
These murals were on the facade of the museum's building.
This first mural was painted by self-taught Qatari artist Abdulla Al Emadi, called "Mechanical Dreams" - a portrayal of a mechanical robot wearing traditional Qatari clothing.

DeleteThese are some very original murals again, dear Sami! What a quirky idea to dress a mechanical robot in traditional Qatari clothing 😅. I also really like the other examples you show – my favorite is "Shroomy Ladybug" 🥰
ReplyDeleteAll the best, Traude

DeleteHow wonderful to see these murals from the Fire Station Museum in Doha. What a creative use of the building's facade.
ReplyDeleteThank you Melody.
DeleteGreat murals - astonishing they are not related to fire, though.
ReplyDeleteHaha. 2015, Forrest Chase, full of people. Ingo wanted me to go first so he sees me. 40C, Firefighter in full dress - I took a big step backwards and landed full force on Ingo´s foot!!! They sold the calendar (I thought it´s an emergency).
Ingo was a firefighter himself and as the money goes to the children´s hospital paid 15 bucks :-)
Funny that just yesterday at the farewell afternoon tea for 2 colleagues we talked about firefighters and the calendar :)
DeleteWonderful mural works, Great pics.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for hosting. Have a nice week ahead.
Thanks Rupam. Enjoy your week too.
DeleteC'est une étrange inspiration trtès surréaliste que cette coccinelle à champignons. Ces peintures murales de Doha, délivrées de semaines en semaines ne cessent de m'étonner
ReplyDeleteMerci Kwarkito :) Bonne semaine
DeleteFunny, I see mushrooms and I am so conditioned to our cannabis shops, but I thought, no, this is Doha!
ReplyDeleteLOL, never made that connection. When I posted this one I actually thought about a case in court at the moment in the East coast of Australia, where a woman procured toxic mushrooms to cook with, and invited here ex-in laws and another family member and fed them that meal, eating something else herself! Managed to kill 2 of the 3. Her ex-husband had also been invited but decided not go, otherwise he could have been dead too.
DeleteSeems that Doha is a never ending place for murals....really astonishing.
ReplyDeleteHave a good time
Violetta
Thank you Violetta, enjoy the rest of your week.
