It was painted by Perth artist Joanna Brown of laelinedesign in October 2021. I can't believe I had never noticed it before on my once in a while forays into the city centre...
In Hay Street I also saw this very modern electrical box.
The first is beguilingly delicate, the second fresh and bold!. Thank you
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice looking mural.
ReplyDelete...the flowers certainly dress up Hay Street. Thanks for hosting the party, Sami.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flower paintings! Very decorative and unusual in such a delicate style.
ReplyDeletethanks for hosting … mae at maefood.blogspot.com
it's very interesting this mural in the small alley. I also really like the electric box in another design style. It's always a treat to see the diversity of all these proposals (kwarkito)
ReplyDeleteI like them both, the black against the flowers stands out.
ReplyDeleteThat's a stunning mural on the wall. It appears to be peeling, though. I hope it can be fixed, because the flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am really impressed with the abstract and colorful electric box. What an exciting sight to come across.
The unique fungus like plant is elegant on the wall art.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice, but in such a constrained area to take it all in, and photograph. What on earth are those wire ball like things?
ReplyDeleteNot easy to photograph in the alley. Those wire balls are lights Andrew.
DeleteThese are well done.
ReplyDeleteI could look at the mural with the root system all day. It’s so intriguing.
ReplyDeleteThe other is cheerful.
As flores são bonitas até em pinturas murais.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Interesting location and also how the brick breaks through.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful for that little alley and that street furniture is also a feast for the eye.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, colourful additions to the urban landscape.
ReplyDeleteDear Sami, the flower-mural in Hay Street is really very decorative - it's a pity it's in such a hidden small street - no wonder that you didn't notice it. I also find the modern electrical box attractive - it's always good when such boxes are embellished with color and imagination.
ReplyDeleteToday you will get an old wall painting from me that I discovered on a grain silo in Lower Austria.
All the best from Austria and a good first week of April!
Hugs, Traude 😘
I think that mural is just gorgeous, like a lacquered cabinet.
ReplyDeleteThese murals have a wonderful organic feel with all the roots and branches.
ReplyDeleteI like them both, Sami. The floral one in the lane is so beautiful but so hard to photograph in such a narrow space.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful mural works, Great captured.
ReplyDeleteI marvel at artists who can do intricate geometric paintings. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think i need to keep an eye out for some of the art on those types of traffic boxes in Sydey.
ReplyDeleteThanks to everyone who contributed and commented. I've just arrived home from my trip to Europe, and just don't have the energy to comment individually this time. Apologies for the my late visiting to most Mural post this week, but I visited in between trips while waiting at the airports - some in Lisbon, some in Frankfurt and some in Singapore... Apologies also to those 2 or 3 bloggers where I just couldn't leave a comment at all due to some setting that required me to sign in to google (where I was already signed in), but then wouldn't even let me sign in via the allocated sign, which made for very frustrating blog visits!
ReplyDeleteHopefully it will all work out again from now on, as I'm home! Thanks for being patient and continuing to post your murals.
That's awfully pretty. I really like her style!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter, dear Sami 🐣🐰🪺!
ReplyDeleteAll the best from Austria, Traude
