More murals from the Denpasar Airport in Bali.
The G20 summit was held in Nusa Dua, Bali in Nov 2022 |
...the airport went all out to welcome visitors to Bali, nice. Thanks Sami for hosting the party.
ReplyDeleteThank you Tom for taking part.
DeleteI bet none of the G20 participants saw that airport sign! The murals are all lovely, though. I enjoyed seeing the temple.
ReplyDeleteI'm having trouble leaving a comment. I keep getting "failed to publish." I keep trying, though.
The comment was published Elizabeth. I bet the G20 participants were whisked from their private plane onto a limousine and didn't even see the airport, lol.
DeleteI've never been to Bali but the airfares and holiday costs there are pretty cheap, the murals look tropical.
ReplyDeleteYes the flights were reasonably priced and costs there are much cheaper than ours in Australia.
DeleteIt is such a beautiful surf-themed mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks Roentare
DeleteThey are great, and such welcoming murals. I agree with B & E above. G20 representatives would not have seen them.
ReplyDeleteI agree Andrew, I doubt they even went through the airport :)
DeleteI like the diversity of these murals, between modernity (for surfing paradises) and reminders of traditional art. (kwarkito)
ReplyDeleteThanks Kwarkito. They are great artists :)
DeleteThat is so very cool. Love them. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThat Patrick, you too :)
DeleteVery colourful!
ReplyDeleteFica bonito e funciona como promoção turística.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Obrigada Pedro :)
DeleteG20 colours look great.
ReplyDeleteIt's a colourful mural, hope the G20 politicians enjoyed seeing it :)
DeleteBeautiful ones. I cannot surf, but, oh, I´d like to go swimming! And warm weather... Enjoy yours, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris. I cant surf and I'm not a good swimmer, but I do enjoy the warm weather of course :)
DeleteBeautiful Bali! Here's my entry: https://flightsofthesoul.wordpress.com/2023/02/06/in-the-land-of-camels/
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteWith all this to see inside the airport building I wonder how long it takes travellers to make their way outside?
ReplyDeleteI stopped to take photos while my husband carried on, but we still had to stop to exchange money and to buy sim cards for our phones... so plenty of time to admire the art.
DeleteBeautiful murals at the airport welcoming and introducing visitors to Bali.
ReplyDeleteYes lovely, thanks Nancy.
DeleteA lot to see at the airport!
ReplyDeleteYes, an airport with so much art!
DeleteLooks amazing, Great pics
ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam :)
DeleteThe beauty of the murals no doubt exceeds the wisdom that came from the mouths of so-called "leaders" at the G20 Summit. What a gang of self-serving morons.
ReplyDeleteQuite true, most politicians around the world aren't doing a good job!
DeleteGreat, dear Sami - the airport with the many creative murals inspires me!
ReplyDeleteALL THE BEST from Austria
