Painted in 2020 by Shaun Lee (aka Hafleg) (the blue side), and Trent Lee, (the orange side).
Both artists are Darwin born and raised Larrakia, Wardaman and Karajarri men.
The mural can be found at Nutall Place, Darwin. Sadly it had a huge container in front of it, but I thought the mural was nice enough to be featured.
Hafleg is also the same artist that painted the turtle.
Barramundi - an Aboriginal name for the Asian Sea Bass/Australian Sea Bass, a very popular fish in Australian as well as Asian cuisines.

That's a great mural. I love the aboriginal style of showing the interior organs of a creature when depicting it. This is a good example.

DeleteIt's really too bad about the container hiding the beautiful mural. The two artists' murals worked so well together. It is wonderful regardless.

DeleteIts a pity that this beautiful mural is blocked by the container. Yes, barramundi is common and here, the fish is known as Siakap in Malay and is good for steaming.
