Thanks, Sami.
The other two murals I saw on my return home after the Sculptures by the Sea visit when I saw Frida and the Dingo Flour murals are these:
The Seadragon also located on Stirling Highway in North Fremantle, painted by Alice Ford on the walls of IKids Paediatric Dentistry
When crossing the bridge over the Swan river I spotted a house with a mural I had already posted in February 2019 (Sunflowers by Brenton See) and also the rainbow containers and decided to turn off onto Canning Highway (not really a highway) and parked in East Street, which is closest to the containers to go an take some photos. Both are quite joyful aren't they?

...what a fabulous collection Sami! The murals are great, but the shipping containers grabbed my attention.
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom. The containers are a popular attraction in Fremantle.
DeleteWhat a plethora of signs you found. The container boxes sculpture was incredible. Here in the States, they have started using them as shops. They are all connected together and there is a second story in one are of the complex. I like what the artist did with these. They were really colorful, too.
ReplyDeleteYou found beautiful murals this week. The one at the Children's dentistry was so well done, and that one with the surfers was out of this world. Both so very different, but certainly clever.
I always laugh when I see sunflowers in Oz. Kansas is often known as Oz because of the Wizard of Oz is supposed to be in Kansas. And Kansas's state flower is the sunflower. These are well done and I'm still chuckling.
This will be my final Monday Mural until the 25th of April. I'm doing my annual 22 days of recycling, starting on the 1st. I'll still stop by, though.
Thanks Elizabeth. I have seen containers used as houses but never as shops, but interesting concept and why not use what is available!
DeleteInteresting about the sunflowers and sunflower state.
See you again at the end of April Elizabeth :)
Alice Ford's seadragon is quite charming and not too bad. I really like the big fresco, very cheerful and colourful with the giant sunflowers. The arch with the coloured containers is very amazing. I wish you a beautiful week, inspired and full of discoveries
ReplyDeleteThanks Arnaud, all cheerful for sure! Have a great week.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteLove the sunflowers most, even though they too look a bit faded... Maybe it's done on a sunny side wall?
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. I think the mural is on a sunny wall and bound to fade.

DeleteI love the art you show us. The shipping containers were awesome. And I'm a fan of sea dragons too. Nice sense of place, Freemantle.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cloudia, Fremantle is a great suburb full of art and quirky things.
DeleteLoving the sea dragon - thats awesome
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy :)
DeleteThe first two are very happy murals. I know an arch is very strong but even so, I am not sure about the container stack.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew. The containers are quite popular in Perth.
DeleteFunny, Sami, we call them Seepferdchen, sea-horses.
ReplyDeleteKids get them as sticker on their bathing suit after having mastered safe swimming. Then you may enter the big area by yourself, was I proud :-)
Ohhh, all sooo beautiful and also... the sky, looks like rain may hit!. Hmmm, eukalyptus-smell in the caravan park...
To be that fit and ride the waves like that, great collection.
I think sea-horses and sea-dragons are similar, just have differences in their leaf-like appendages. It was a bit of a cloudy day that day, hence the darker sky. I have never surfed, and don't think I could do it now at my age :) Thanks Iris
DeleteThe shipping container sculpture is GREAT! Now if only they can get them off the container ship in the Sues canal!
ReplyDeletebe safe... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae. Yes, what a right old mess they have there!
DeleteThat is so very cool. Thanks for sharing. Love them. Also, thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteThank you Patrick, have a nice week too.
DeleteInspiração e talento sem fim.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Truly Awesome works.
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots.
Thank you Rupam.
DeleteWonderful, love the Fremantle Harbour one.
ReplyDeleteThanks Alison, a nice surprise :)
DeleteAmazing how many wonderful murals you always find in your neigbourhoods!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marianne, always new ones popping up :)
DeleteI agree with Bieb. Amazing indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks SC :)
DeleteIt continues to amaze me, Sami, that you find new murals to share with us each week. I really will have to open my eyes a little wider, but I have been going through in my mind's eye the parts of town that I visit and I can't bring to mind even one. It would seem that in Canada, or at least in this area, we are not into murals in a big way. Western Australia seems to be the mural capital of the world and you are its publicist,
ReplyDeleteEven I am amazed at the amount of new murals that pop up constantly David! Just this Saturday I went into the city and found 2 new murals and from a news article I found there are another 9 or 10 in a suburb about 20min from me, so will have to visit it soon :)
DeleteWOW you scored big this week. They are all so cheerful. I especially love the sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteThe container rainbow is also wonderful.
Thank you Jackie. The sunflowers are quite pretty and I also like the rainbow containers :)
DeleteThank you Laurie :)
ReplyDeleteThat sea dragon is beautiful. You found a lot of art to share today.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon.
DeleteLove the sea dragon but really love those containers. I wouldn't walk under them though! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat. Not sure I would walk under them to, lol.
DeleteI love all of these. All a little different -- and lots of fun. They're all so well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jeanie.
DeleteWonderfully done!
ReplyDeleteThanks William.
DeleteA fun post! You found a wealth of art.
ReplyDeleteAlways new murals popping up Linda.
DeleteWonderful series of murals here Sami, I love the seadragon, so pretty there ✨
ReplyDeleteA fabulous collection.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
