And again another sign from the times we're living now.
This was the cover of the TV magazine in the Weekend West, a Perth weekend newspaper, from the 28th of March.
A lot of people who are self-isolating are probably watching a lot more TV. Because I still go to work my tv watching is limited to the normal programs I enjoy watching - medical or legal series. What about you, are you binge-watching tv? What do you enjoy watching?
For other signs from around the world please pop over to Tom's blog.
Sami, I´m still, or again, watching Quantum Leap!
ReplyDeleteReal TV in Germany is dumb!
I watch Jamie and Gennaro on FB.
It is cold here, only 11C. But we´re off for a little isolated walk now, the sun is shining!
Soon you'll be getting warmer. Our temperatures dropped from last week, but still great days in the 20's C, just at night getting cooler.
DeleteQuantum Leap was a good series, enjoy. Have a nice weekend Iris.
That’s a well known sign from both world wars. But still effective by the look of it only with its meaning 180 degrees turned. Thanks for showing Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks SC, have a nice weekend.
DeleteThat's a pretty graphic image, reminiscent of wartime images, as others have pointed out - entirely appropriate, for in effect we are in a war now against the Coronavirus.
ReplyDeleteThanks David, it does look like a wartime sign.
DeleteDefective memory, but is't a bit like Stalin's fist photo? Not binge watching although have signed up to Stan for the free first month. I can't see us paying.
ReplyDeleteA bit war like I suppose, but I think in a fun way too. Enjoy Stan Andrew, we have Netflix, but I hardly watch anything there.
DeleteOh, Sami, this is fabulous. We should start a collection of all the ads from this painful time.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jackie.
DeleteI’m still at work too, even though it’s at home during this period. I like to watch a good detective on tv, preferably one made jn Scandinavia.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marleen. I also like old British detective series :)
DeleteI love British mysteries and drama and just finished the wonderful "The English Game" about the development of professional football. They took some liberties with the timelines and characters but as long as one doesn't care (I didn't!) It is well worth a watch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jeanie. I enjoy the old British mystery series. Enjoy the weekend.
Delete...Sami, this one is GREAT! Who would like the screen time would be good for your health. I rarely watch TV, but I'm on computer a lot. Take care and stay safe!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, stay safe too :)
DeleteI love the sign Sami! People in the Philippines at the moment is either crazy about Money Heist (Spanish Series) or Kingdom (Korean Series). But I personally prefer Thai Series these past few weeks since they are light and comical but at the same time there are plot twists that will make you cry and amazed all at the same time!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of any of those series Stevenson. Enjoy your interesting series and have a nice weekend :)
DeleteWe're not doing that. We've not changed anything except where we go. Mostly stay in and shop once a week for groceries.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Thanks Sandee, keep safe :)
DeleteThat is a fantastic sign with an updated message appropriate for these times. Great find, Sami.
ReplyDeleteHaha!

ReplyDeletePara muitos nao deve ser :) Bom fim de semana Pedro.
DeleteYes right!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marianne :)
DeleteDefinitely not Sami, I don't watch much telly at the best of times, I prefer to read, although I have become addicted to Escape to the Chateau DIY' 😀
ReplyDeleteHi Grace, I must say I haven't been reading more at all, but my time at home is taken up by crafts, internet, researching our family genealogy...
DeleteI like the sign I rarely watch TV. I waste my time on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda. I also spend far too much time on the net, not really Facebook, but many other websites.
DeleteThat's a great war time sign, Sami. I have been binge watching a few shows when I can't get on the internet (which is a LOT this month). I only watch mysteries and detective series. I'm a sucker for a who dunnit.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. I like old British detective series. Keep safe :)
DeleteI don't really watch TV but I'm into jigsaws big time!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy viewing!
