DeleteHooray! Another Mona Lisa face! Most of those boxes on the streets of our town are also now decorated, but I haven't seen Mona.
ReplyDeleteI would lke to check the graffiti alley in our town, but it's a bit too confined to be safe for the moment. I wonder if coronavirus themed graffiti and murals have begun to appear there.
Be Well! ... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae. I imagine virus murals will be popping up all over :)
DeleteSome of those boxes are really colourful and I think it's a great idea, we have them here too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy :)
DeleteThe second last is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteThe flower was my favourite too William.
DeleteMuch better than boring grey boxes. Australia seems to be finally getting into painting utility boxes in a serious way.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew, I'm glad they are doing it, they look so much nicer.
DeleteE assim se transforma um mamarracho em algo agradável ao olhar.
ReplyDeleteBoa semana
Bem verdade Pedro. Boa semana
DeleteA cow on a skateboard, now that´s a new one :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful boxes, it´s so easy (for an artist) to bring a bit of joy with this!
The cow was just outside a souvenir shop, with the flag colours and symbol, I thought it was quite striking :)
DeleteYes, very little work to brighten up the street. Thanks Iris
The boxes are incredible, very creative and pretty to see.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day, Sami.
Thanks Bill, have a lovely week :)

These murals give me a bit of a chuckle, Sami, something we all need as the effects of the Coronavirus affect our lives ever more greatly. I hope that you are doing well during this time of enforced confinement, and that the people of Perth are displaying a little more couth and common sense, than the frequenters of Bondi Beach!
ReplyDeleteGlad they made you smile David. We all need cheering up. Even if people go to the beach in Perth, they are so much bigger than Bondi beach and always so few people on them, they could well be far enough from each other.
DeleteVery nice done by the artist.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mariette :)
DeleteWhat a clever idea to decorate electrical boxes. Quite fun to look at. Sure hope you are ding well Sami, and sending many hugs your way. RO
ReplyDeleteThank you RO. Doing well, wishing you keep safe too.
DeleteWhat a difference that makes to see those boxes painted. Thanks for hosting us, Sami.
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat :)
DeleteOh, I had prepared this and now it fits to yours.
ReplyDeleteThanks Traudel.
DeleteIt truly is a colorful world you have there and those beautiful icons that were painted looks vibrant and does tell stories and menaing to it.

DeleteLove the colours on the first one.
ReplyDeleteThe cow looks great. I remember seeing some at Venice Beach in California.
I hope you are doing well. Take care, Sami.
Thanks Dee. A few years ago we had a "cow parade" here in Perth with dozens of cows painted by various artists. It was quite a fun event.
DeleteNice! I shared a utility box today too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda :)
DeleteSuch A Colorful World Out There - Thanx For Sharing
