This is another mural painted at Curtin University for Public Form 2016 , by Perth surrealist artist Liam Dee, on a wall in Building 213. I don't really understand much of it - could it be a plane on the right side? For other murals from around the world please click on this link.
I have trouble with surrealism, so I'm going to take your word for whatever it might be. I'm just glad you found and photographed it, so I can ponder its true meaning.
It does look like you should be able to decipher it. But alas, I was not up to the task. It's even more confusing that a few of the objects look like they have eyes. Sorry for the Linky snafu and thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
A plane in a shark form? It seems similar!
ReplyDeleteExactly, a plane in shark form! Well spotted Paula.

ReplyDeleteI don't understand surrealism either Elizabeth, but I liked the colours.
DeleteShark-plane, yes, I see that, too.
ReplyDeleteI like how to the left the things seem to leave the canvas and get shadows, clever!
It is well done, I just don't get the style.
DeleteI don't understand it either Sami ☺ but I do love the combination of colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks Grace, I agree the colours are great!
Delete...Sami, this reminds me of the old TV show "The Jetsons." You found a nice one!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, I remember "the jetsons" too.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteWell, the perspective is done very well as you have the feeling it is up and above you!
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette. Have a great week.

ReplyDeleteThanks ODP, this type of style can be a bit confusing...
DeleteI like the colours and I love the style.
