Remember my post about the nests in our lemon trees? There's now an update,
Two or three little birdies have been born.
Here you can see their little necks craning out for some food. We see the parents flying in and out and feeding them. It's so cute!
All the photos were taken by my Dad.
See you soon.
Oh, how cute! And family is there safely, too - have a happy Xmas-time! xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris. We will be off to Denmark in about 1h.
DeleteWhat a joy to see this happy little family thrive! Enjoy your trip, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks J. We have done loads of travelling around the South west already.
DeleteGreat photo of the little ones!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marianne.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteEnjoy this precious time with your Parents!
We had my Parents over 4 times (Mom) and Dad 6 times and that makes for fond memories.
Thank you for your comments and Dad luckily is home, as of Friday afternoon and no surgery needed. Prayers worked out well.
Hugs,
Mariette
Wonderful news Mariette. Thanks for letting me know.
DeleteOh well done Sami, nice to see the eggs survived to hatch, very sweet sight those little beaks popping up there :) Have a brilliant time with your folks, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGlad they survived. Hope they are doing well after the windy and wet weekend we had.

ReplyDeleteHi Sami, Just catching up on your blog. How lovely to see the willy wag-tail chicks hatch. They are such gorgeous little birds and they make such neat nests. Loved seeing your wedding photos in your previous post - what a gorgeous couple you are! Good choice celebrating your anniversary at Mosmans - we've spoiled ourselves there a few times over the years to celebrate anniversaries.
ReplyDeleteI saw a heap of great murals in South Fremantle a few weeks back and thought of you. I have posted a couple on my latest post and added a link to your blog. You have probably already seen these ones. Oh yes, I saw a while back that you also posted about Government House and the flowering Jacaranda trees - I too have recently enjoyed both these things and loved seeing your photos of them.
I hope you enjoy Denmark!
Thanks Wendy, Will catch-up on your blog when I get back to Perth. Right now I only have net via my mobile. We have just arrived in Margaret river and will return home on Sunday.
DeleteThat's fantastic. How cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are such clever birds!
