Hmmm, love the mixture of floral-geometry / light blue-powerful red. Clever design!
ReplyDeleteAn eye-catcher for sure!
Yes the mix is simple the colour mix simple but it's a catchy mural.
DeleteNick's Lane is a great spot for murals Sami, love the colours here.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, there's so many murals in Nick's lane, and I seem to have found more since the last time I was there a few months ago...
DeleteImpressive art, and I like the bright colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Marleen.
DeleteYou don't often see blue roses.
ReplyDeleteThat's true Tom, blue roses aren't that common. Thanks for your visit.
DeleteNice one!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Pat.
DeleteThe patterns here are great...makes for a super mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks LOL, I liked the simple patterns too.
DeleteCompositions inside compositions. Nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit S.C.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteThat looks like nice art work and I love the use of minimal colors and the display of those forms in the painting. Very unique.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette, it's a simple mural but very striking.
DeleteSuch pretty bits of color and design dressing up the alley. It must have been a pleasure to discover this wall. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting ODP. Nick's lane is a treasure trove of murals!
DeleteI can't believe it's been this long since I visited. For that I apologize and thank you for kicking me into gear (grin).
ReplyDeleteA few comments before I forget them. A visit to the Governor's house must have been a special treat, even though you were only expecting to visit the food stands and gardens. That ballroom shot was incredible, and so was the staircase. I promise not to say anything bad about Charles and his wife (after all, I AM American, not British), but I wish he would step aside and let William rule once Elizabeth is gone.
I was stunned to learn that the Jacaranda trees originated in Brazil and Argentina. After all the research I've done on those two countries, I never know that till now, reading your blog post.
I sort of know about Neil Diamond, and I love the song "Sweet Caroline." What a lovely photo of you and your husband, and how much fun it appears you had at that concert.
Thanks again for your recent visits. I appreciate them, and have missed catching up with you and those wonderful murals you post every Monday.
Hi Elizabeth, no pressure to visit, come anytime you want, I understand how busy you are. Thanks for looking at a few of my latest posts too - Food festival, Jacaranda festival...
DeleteI do agree with you on Charles stepping aside for William, some new blood and ideas are needed. We had great fun at the concert singing along with Neil Diamond.
I like the blue colours.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marianne.
