(Fremantle, Perth's harbour city is about 20km (12miles) from my suburb.
The mural was also painted by ArtbyD3stroy, the same artist/s that painted the two murals in Bunbury, which I've just shown in the last two mural posts.
As you can see they are quite different styles, which makes me think there must be a few different artists under that name brand.

Monday 2nd is a public holiday in Western Australia - Labour Day, but it happens to be my big birthday too. I'll let you guess...
We will just be celebrating by having a picnic with our son Michael, daughter in law and grandkids.
I love parties, and have left the celebration for the 14th March, as my daughter arrives that day from the Philippines to attend our granddaughter's 1st birthday and Christening on the 22nd. Karina's 35th birthday is on the 8th March, so we will celebrate together.
You will hear all about it when I post my March Wrap-up.
At age two and one from February. |
...Sami, this lovely mural could easily find a home here on Maui. Thanks for hosting and party on!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom, I'm sure a nautical mural would look great in Maui.
DeleteWe dived and snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef years ago, so Australia's undersea credentials are extraordinary. Nice murals, though even divers don't use those helmets much any more, let alone an octopus!
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
Thanks Mae. So lucky of you to have dived on the Great barrier reef.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteYour Birthday and the coincidence that it is also Australian Labour Day is far more important than that odd looking mural. Have a Happy one, entering in the digits where I will exit from next year... Time is going way too fast!
Guess you were born with that broad smile on your face; lovely photos!
Hugs,
Mariette
Thank you Mariette, I was lucky my day fell on the holiday, so I could have a fun day without working.
Delete😉💓
DeleteAs a fan of Jules Verne, I can only appreciate this mural which reminds me of his novel with Captain Nemo... have a happy birthday
ReplyDeleteTrue, it does remind me of Jules Verne too. Thanks Kwakito
DeleteAll I can say, Sami, is that you have aged very, very well.
ReplyDeleteThanks David for the compliment.
DeleteOctopus with so many tentacles scare me more than crocodiles. There is no escape. Interesting work.
ReplyDeleteCrocodiles scare me more Andrew, I'm not sure an octopus would be able to kill you like a crocodile can.
DeleteHappy, happy Birthday, Sami!!! To a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful mural, I like also that it goes onto the street, too!
And cute pics :-)
Thanks Iris :) I also thought it was great that the mural extended to the street.
DeleteUnderwater scenes beautifully recreated! Great find -- all of them in the series.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting.
And a big big Birthday wish all the way from California. Have a great day. Stay gorgeous!! <3
Thanks so much Dee.
DeleteWe're all caught in a yellow submarine (sorry for the earworm).
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy birthday, dear friend. I hope it's a fun day. From the looks of your most recent photo, I'd say you are 25.
Thanks Elizabeth :) I would have to be at least older than my daughter, lol.
DeleteEntre Yellow Submarine dos Beatles e 20000 Léguas Submarinas do Júlio Verne... Belas cores.
ReplyDeleteMuitos parabéns Sami, que tenha um dia excelente!
Beijinhos

ReplyDeleteThanks Adam :)
DeleteGlad I don't live in a yellow submarine!
