Looking forward to your mural finds this week.

Thanks Sami

Mural painted by Perth artist Melski McVee on an utility box at Dumond Park, (Walpole and Holder streets) in the suburb of St James in June 2023.

The park has recently been upgraded and transformed into an urban forest, sanctuary for the community to relax and connect with nature, with the planting of over 40 trees and 3000 shrubs to provide shade and attract wildlife as well as 3 bee and insect hotels created with the assistance of the students of Bentley Primary School and a new mural was painted.

The park is just 200 metres (656 feet) from Warwick Park, which also got a new mural, which I'll post next week.

I love owls and is that a raven or a magpie? Either way, very cute!

    1. This is in St James, near Curtin Uni Iris, not north of the river. It's a magpie :)

  17. Dear Sami, I really like the wild animal & flower mural - and it's wonderful that something is being done for REAL nature at the same time ❤️!
Today you'll get a wall painting from me on an old house (and a mosaic on another house).
All the best and a happy week
