Last Saturday my husband and I walked to our local shopping centre to go and buy the newspaper (about a half hour walk each way) and for the first time I noticed they had an electrical car charging station and 2 car bays for electrical cars.
For other signs from around the world please check Tom's blog.

A sign of the times (the charging stations). Even though we had electric cars five years ago, we would not have seen public charging stations. Clever signs. I've never seen the elderly sign before.
ReplyDeleteI think in a couple of decades we will all be driving electric cars. Thanks Elizabeth :)
DeleteOne of our local shopping centres has power charging spaces and there are often cars there charging.
ReplyDeleteBecause I always drive to the shopping I hadn't even noticed this charging bay nor noticed cars there either. Thanks Andrew.
DeletePerhaps soon plug ins for electric cars will become more common than fuel pumps.
ReplyDeleteI think that will probably be norm within the next 50 years for sure David.
Delete...electric charging stations are become a bit more common here. We have updated the handicap parking symbol to give it more athletic and positive image. Thanks Sami for joining the party, take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting Tom.
DeleteWe have them, too, yet still not enough for this becoming the future.
ReplyDeleteWhat we would need would also be for elderlies.
No signs for the elderly, that's odd Iris.
DeleteI need to go around and see the signs. There are so many.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
I'm sure you will find plenty of signs Sandee.
DeleteI'm sure the charging bays will becoming more common.
ReplyDeleteI think so too Catarina, I see more and more electric cars on the road.
DeleteLooks amazing
ReplyDeleteThanks Rupam.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteThe charging stations are common, at several hotels here you see those signs and elsewhere.
But the elderly parking, is that really a sign? New to me and looks more like a Prams and Elderly parking.
Hugs,
Mariette
Yes Marianne, all shoppings have parking bays near the entrance doors for the elderly, the handicapped and mothers with prams (which I haven't posted here).
DeleteMarianne again...?
DeleteMuy bien señalizado esos aparcamientos, para las personas que no tienen mucha movilidad.
ReplyDeleteBesos
Gracias Antonia.
DeleteWe see them around here too. A good thing
ReplyDeleteMB
Thanks, the signs of progress.
DeleteLove these logo signs.
ReplyDeleteOr are they symbol signs?
DeleteThey are parking signs Jim.
DeleteWe're also starting to see more charging stations here.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good sign William 😊
DeleteWho would have ever thought twenty five years ago there would be signs for electric cars to park and plug?!
ReplyDeleteThat's true, technology has advanced so much in such a short period.
DeleteEstamos a discutir esta possibilidade no meu prédio.
ReplyDeleteMas para todos.
Que bom Pedro, já há assim tantos carros eléctricos por ai?
DeleteI can't imagine plugging my car in to recharge Sami, quite funny really 😊
ReplyDeleteWho knows Grace, maybe in a couple of years you will be buying an electric car :)
DeleteHere in the UK we are also seeing similar electrical charging points and signs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
That's the future of cars I think, thanks Jan :)
DeleteI really love that someone took the time to do these and they really stand out. Hugs, RO
ReplyDeleteThanks R.O. :)
