This gigantic mural was painted by San Francisco based artist Andrew Schoultz.
It depicts nature and regeneration and was painted in 2016 during the Art BGC festival.

...gigantic is a good description! It looks like some trees that I see i Maui!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tom :)
DeleteI am having a hard time seeing nature and renewal in this mural, and The Philippines has a truly abysmal record in this regard.
ReplyDeleteI suppose if the tree was green it would look a bit more like nature, but blue and gray trees don't...
DeleteI love this, it has depth!
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole.
DeleteDearest Sami,
ReplyDeleteThat sure was gigantic and the last photo puts it very well into perspective.
Hugs,
Mariette
Thanks Mariette, yes we can really see how big the mural was.

DeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteThanks William :)
DeleteIs that a tropical tree species? Or maybe just stylized artistically? Neat mural!
ReplyDeletebest... mae at maefood.blogspot.com
I think it would be a stylized tree Mae.
DeleteI like the way the mural complements the color of the building!
ReplyDeleteYes it does Pam :)
DeleteCool mural
ReplyDeleteThanks Adam.
DeleteBit strange. It's the kind of mural that makes you smile and wonder.
ReplyDeleteThanks Andrew :)
DeleteThat's huge!!
ReplyDeleteIt had to be -- the building seems really tall.
Goes well with the building, thanks Dee.
DeleteChegar a um local e ver algo tão belo dá logo boa disposição.
ReplyDeleteAston Martin ao lado ainda mais :))
Boa semana
Naquela zona nao faltavam os carros de luxo :) Obrigada Pedro.
DeleteFor once, I have to say I don't get it and I'm not fond of this one. I did like the blue squares on the building above the mural, though.
ReplyDeleteI suppose not to everyone's taste as you can't really relate to that being a tree with that colour and shape, but art is subjective... Thanks Elizabeth.
DeleteA different style for sure! Very vivid.
ReplyDeleteThanks Iris :)
DeleteNice!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Bertie.
DeleteMurals like this bring art in our cities!
ReplyDeleteHere is mine: https://geriatrixfotogallerie.wordpress.com/2019/01/21/balcony-art/
Thank you Traudel.
DeleteBeautiful mural of the tree. ( I can't link, says list from linky is not available)
ReplyDeleteThanks S.C. Sorry, I let Linky expire, have paid, so hopefully it will be up and running soon.
DeleteGreat mural. Sami. I love its size, and hints of colour. As for its message, it looks more like a warning than a celebration of renewal. to me. The tree looks as disruptive as the volcanos.
ReplyDeleteThe linky list has run away.
Thanks Debbie, I agree that it looks like a volcano and not a tree.
DeleteSorry I let Linky expiry, just paid so hopefully it will be up and running soon.
That is an incredible mural, very nice indeed.
ReplyDelete(I have the same problem as s.c.)
Thanks Bill. Sorry I let Linky expire, just paid for it, so hopefully all will be up and running in a couple of hours.
DeleteInteresting huge mural, well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mariette.

DeleteWOW! it's HUGE … but I like it :)
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Thanks Jan :)
DeleteI could see a swing being part of it.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is on
I think the branches are too small for a swing Dora, but it would like nice for sure. Thanks :)
