Monday Mural - Rubik's Cube

A very popular puzzle in the 1980's, the Rubik's cube was invented by an Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture - Erno Rubik in 1974.
It's still considered the world's top selling puzzle game with over 350 million cubes sold.
Just as with last week's mural, the Hungarian are proud of this invention and here is a mural to prove that.
Located at Rumbach Sebestyén utca 5.  in Budapest, it was painted by Neopaint, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the cube in 2014, and measures 250 sqmt (2691sqft).

And here you can see this mural and last week's mural opposite each other

    1. Thanks William, yes they are still popular. Just yesterday there was a "brainy" kid in tv that could do it in just 59 seconds!!

  8. Ohhhh, childhood memories. I never solved it but then, I was too young anyways. Maybe that´s just an excuse. They´re rightfully proud of it, great mural to proof it!

  13. Dearest Sami,
Rubik's Cube was quite some invention and thus a mural in Budapest is perfect.
