Monday Mural - The Captain

Painted this year in Cascais (Portugal) on the side of a residential building, by Portuguese artist Daniel Eime, who uses stencils to paint this type of work.

  2. Goodness Sami, this is simply stunning. I have no idea how you find (or maybe stumble onto) these murals, but this one is worth the trip to Portugal alone!

  3. He is perfectly nestled into that niche and watches with benevolent eyes! Interesting that the artist works with a stencil - I can't image getting everything right by doing it freehand! Still - what an accomplishment that only a very, very few people can achieve!

    1. Thanks O.D.O. That's what I read about the way he paints. He cuts his own stencils then paints the murals...a lot of work for such huge murals.
