Personalised Number Plates III

This time I've got a few black number plates.

I'll start off with Catwoman, a woman after my own heart, lover of cats or maybe she's the superhero type...
Get Smart - do you remember the comedy TV series with Maxwell Smart aka Agent 86?
Still funny today! A really fitting plate for a "Smart" car.
Special - the car, the person, maybe both!

I think this Vuvuzela could be owned by a South African. Remember during the Soccer world cup of 2010 when the awfully loud vuvuzela was the sound of choice during the games?
The Mienie for a cute and modern Mini.

You might not be familiar with this expression, but Wog is a term used in Australia as a racial slur for people from Southern and Eastern Europe, and the Mediterranean region of the Middle East, who immigrated to Australia just after World War II.

The term Wogboy was also the name of an Australian movie from 2000, and then Wogboy II from 2010, starring Australian actors from Greek descent. Very funny!

The Wolve - powerful, fast, head of the pack...

Debtfree - lucky him! We would love to be debt free wouldn't we?

Whoo Hoo, it's Friday!!

Have a great weekend everybody!
I'm busy preparing my things to fly out to Portugal on Wednesday for a family celebration - the christening of my "great-nephew".
I'll try my best to do a couple of posts, but if not see you in 3 weeks.

  1. Never thought smarts would make it to Australia!
Do you also see VW up!-cars? (guess not).
Oh. Those awful Vuvuzelas. Horrible! European soccer games start June 10th - I hope without that nonesense!
    Ha. We are debtfree :-)
Wooo Hoo, have a great time in Portugal, Sami - and a nice journey, too.

  3. Haven't seen those, but there are a lot of VW's too.
There are a few Smarts around, but I think they might be too small for Australia, maybe ideal as a city car only, not for long distances.
Thanks Iris, will do my best to enjoy my time with the family.

  4. Yes, city-cars, I think so too. My (VW)-neighbour goes on the freeway in his up! every working day, yikes, so dangerous!
    Do your best then :-)

    1. Thanks Andrew. I have photographed close to 500 in the last 3 years or so. Maybe it's a Perth thing?

  10. Dearest Sami,
That is fun to look at and the only hard time is with those letters like 3 and 6 that become an E or G... Funny!
Wishing you a safe trip and a great time in Portugal. Have you ever counted your trips abroad? We did it 64 times for visiting our Parents and family. Pieter's Mom only lived till 1989 and we were still working and living in Italy so we could drive in some 12 hours time.
    Sending you hugs and blessings,
    Mariette

    1. Hello Mariette, yes sometimes it takes a while to figure what the number plate means with a mix of letters and numbers.
No, I never counted all our trips, don't even know if I remember all of them... Living in Europe everything is so close together nowadays most capital cities can be reached by plane within 2 or 3 hours.

  11. Another good set of number plates. Here we don't have words but I have been trying to make words with the 3 letters the plates have. It's good entertainment during my runs. I found a SCW, which at first I thought it was my initials+woman, but then I realise it was Sami Colourful World ;)
