Ford and Feral - classic beauties

These two lovely cars were parked near the area where we watched the army parade at the National Anzac Centre in Albany, back in December.

A Ford from 1937 I assume from the number plate.
I love these classic cars, specially when they have been lovingly restored!

Don't know much about this converted VW, but looks quite cute too, specially with it's bright yellow colour and what about the number plate? Feral 2, so there must be a Feral 1 running around somewhere...

What do you think of these beauties?

  1. The Ford sure looks amazing, impressive!
I wonder what kind of people drove in there? Or were probably transported? Chauffeur comes to mind?
We saw a VW like that with a construction of iron around, like it could "fall" through sand dunes, like a cage. In NSW in 1995, in white.
A "bug" as a feral, brrrr ;-) In Japan they click like that I saw in a documentary, large real bugs as pets... huh...

  2. Oh yes, a chauffeur would fit right in with that car.

  4. The colours are very unusual of both of them.

    1. I've seen a few yellow cars but that purple one certainly is quite unusual. Thanks Marianne, have a lovely weekend.

  5. Dearest Sami,
Love the Ford very much but don't know about that 'open' VW and the word Feral. Looks rather strange to look inside its 'intestines' so to speak!
    Hugs and happy weekend.
