On a recent visit to the inner city suburb of Mount Lawley I came across this tiny house and fence covered in graffiti. I have to presume that the owner wanted it painted that way.
The garden looked well looked after, so it couldn't have been an abandoned house...
But I don't think I would buy a house that looked like this, even though it is for sure a one off!
I wonder what the neighbours think of it?
Would you buy it?

Have a wonderful week.
Yes, it's a little odd. But you could always repaint it. ;-)
ReplyDeleteTrue, could always be repainted, all long as the house was worth it...
DeleteThanks for your visit Halcyon.
This is too much, I would get dizzy to have to look at all that stuff as a neighbour.
ReplyDeleteA bit too busy I agree Mariette. I would also not enjoy living next door...
DeleteI think not, but interesting to look at.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit Liz.
DeleteI might Sami if the house was in good condition.. but the first thing would be to do a bit of exterior painting :)
ReplyDeleteLol, I agree, if it was a worthwhile buy and then of course repaint it! Maybe it will sell cheap because of the way it's painted...
DeleteEwww. I think I go blind any minute now! I go with Grace, though :-)
ReplyDeleteMaybe Emos live there? Poor neighbours!
Oh, punks? Maybe! I pity the neighbours too, their house must be devalued due to this one being a bit weird.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope it is lived in by an Artist who appreciates street art, I'd find all those eyes looking at me a little spooky coming home at night!
ReplyDeleteWren x
Thanks Wren, hadn't thought of that!
DeleteI think it's quite bizarre. I've always said there's no accounting for taste... lol
ReplyDeleteThe house would have to be in the right price range to allow for fixing up, but as it is, I wouldn't want to live there.
Great pictures though. :)
Thanks E.C., I agree with you.
DeleteThe plants with teeth seem to be a giant "Keep Out" sign. Once you're inside the house you won't see them! Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
ReplyDeleteMaybe that's the point of that ugly graffiti - it shouts Keep out!
