Thanks Sami

On the same street as last week's mural - Rua dos Caminhos de Ferro (Railway Street) in Lisbon, near the Santa Apolónia Station, the oldest train station in Portugal, built in 1865 - I found a few more murals - couldn't find an artist's name for the first one.

This next mural entitled "Viva a Vida" (Live life) was painted by Mário Belém, and celebrates the 150 years of the abolition of the death penalty in Portugal in 1867.

Comprised of 3 images - on one side 1867 - the year the death penalty was abolished.
Facing the street is a girl with a smiling face surrounded by flowers, symbolizing  the affirmation of life.
On the other side the image evoques the somber symbolism of the death penalty.

Towards the end of the street, which has changed the name to Calcada de Santa Apolonia 65, is the first mural painted by the Spanish street art duo PichiAvo, in 2018 - "Poseidon facing the Tagus River" - creating a symbolic connection between Lisbon's maritime heritage and the Greek God.

  9. The colorful geometric look of that first one is appealing. I think I see a hint of letters in there but I couldn't make them out. That second carries a positive message and it is beautifully painted. That last one is brilliant. These three are different from one another but they are all well done.
