Upon reaching the of the escalators leading to the departure area of Perth International Airport I was thrilled to find a beautiful mural by Perth artist Anya Brock which she painted in April this year.
She has many murals around Perth - animals, flowers, faces - and I love her style.
If you put her name in the "Blog search" you will find all the other murals of Anya that I've posted here.
That's an absolutely wonderful and extremely large mural. She is obviously very talented and good at what she does. I can see why you are so happy with her murals/work.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth. She certainly is talented, I really like all of her murals.
Delete...there's sure a lot to like with this mural! Thanks Sami for hosting, take care.

DeleteWhat a beautiful mural, and I love it that it's in an airport. I love murals in cities. They add so much.
ReplyDeleteThanks Elizabeth :)
DeleteBeautiful flowers. I like her soft touch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sharon. The pastel colours are lovely.
DeleteAirport murals appear in many destinations, and I find it frustrating that I am often much too rushed to stop, enjoy them, and take a picture. I noticed some very nice ones inside the international baggage claim at Dulles Airport (Washington DC) but couldn’t take the time to look. It is great that you managed to get these pics!
ReplyDeletebest… mae at maefood.blogspot.com
What a pity Mae, but it's true sometimes we are just in a rush to be at our gates on time.
DeleteFlowers are a great way to brighten up an airport, good spotting!
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy, these flowers certainly brightened those drab walls.

ReplyDeleteThanks Patrick, enjoy the rest of the week too
DeleteA good scale for those huge flowers for an airport with all that space. Reminds me a bit of O'Keefe's huge flowers.
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbara, yes the scale suits the huge walls.
