Murals in Fremantle at Many6160

On a recent visit to Fremantle I photograhed this gigantic "Praying Mantis" painted by Amok Island, a Dutch artist based in Fremantle.

It's on one of the side walls of Many6160, a former department store now housing small retailers in an open plan space.  The building's main entrance is in Kings Square.

On the main side of the building the wall above the doors right up to the rood has been painted with a huge mural of a Ram, done by Japanese artist Twoone.
Both murals were painted in April 2015 for the Form project.

  4. Hmmm, dunno if the first one really is inviting?
We once (in Queensland) got into a "storm" of grasshoppers, luckily in our car - there were also two guys on push-bikes, ewwww, poor fellas!
The sheep (?) are well done, too!

    1. I suppose if you've been attacked by grasshoppers, you wouldn't like this mural, lol. I actually prefer his "fish" paintings that he has all over Perth.

  6. Perth está cada vez mais giro e alternativo com esses murais!!!! A Sami já visitou Penang/Georgetown na Malásia? Recomendo bastante também devido aos murais:)))
